Ecumenical links on
women & spirituality

Ashira Ashira is a home for Goddess spirituality and feminist theology. This site is a creation of Judith Laura, author of Goddess Spirituality for the 21st Century: From Kabbalah to Quantum Physics (RTP: Triangle Books, 1997) and She Lives! The Return of Our Great Mother (Crossing Press 1989).   Includes links to other excellent webpages on women's spirituality.
photo from Shekhina Under Shekhina's Wings by Yael Ben-Ari is a gorgeous page with selected links on women and spirituality, specialising in Judaism, Islam, Christianity, and earth/goddess spirituality.
FeMiNa FeMiNa is a site dedicated to women's issues.   It offers a Religion and Spirituality page with many intriguingly eclectic links.  There is also a search engine to help you navigate the FeMiNa pages.
Comparative Religion photo Comparative Religion is a "Directory of Internet Resources for the Academic Study of Religion", and a wonderful site for links on religions studies and comparative religion.  It includes an excellent Women and Religion section too.
Comparative Religion photo Christian-Buddhist Dialogue is a page on Christian/Buddhist interfaith resources, maintained by the Empty Bell Contemplative Sanctuary.  N.B. It's not particularly female-oriented, but ... it's a good page!
Speaking of Silence Readers of this page who are interested in Buddhist-Christian dialogue are also recommended to read Speaking of Silence: Christians and Buddhists on the Contemplative Way, a selection of edited transcripts from five Buddhist-Christian conferences hosted by Naropa Institute between 1981 and 1986, and edited by Susan Walker.  Published by Paulist Press, it is also available through Shambhala Books.  Among the Christian speakers was Mother Tessa Bielecki, a Carmelite nun, as well as Sister Benedetta, an Anglican priest from Canada who is also a nun.
